A Long Night

It was suppose to be a surprise, but I knew about it. I mean I was ready. I had on my good bra and panties. You know the ones. The black satin and laced one. I thought sure we were ready to go to the next level, so I wanted to be ready. We had several conversations on the phone. Not to detailed, but enough to peak my interest. He arrived and the drive was long, but it gave me an opportunity to get a taste of what was to come later. I wasn’t prepared for the lack of interest. I thought we were on the same page. Little did I know, the joke was on me. When we got there, I wasn’t expecting to be greeted by his date. I thought I was the date, when in fact; he was the ride. Just a guy to pick me up and drop me off at a friendly gathering of old school buddies. Since my house was on the way to the spot, he agreed to pick me up so my girl wouldn’t have to come out of her way get me up. The past conversations were just his way of easing the awkwardness of driving with a stranger.
